What to take

  DOCUMENTATION
1.

Passport & Visa

2. Letter from Doctor :to cover any prescribed medication you are taking
3. Cuurent FIE licence
4. Money : travellers cheques, local currency, international credit, debit cards
5. Contact Numbers : contact numbers for lost/stolen cards and cheques, any emergency contact number provided by travel insurer
6. Driving Licence : if you are planning to hire a car. Some countries require an international driving licence. For more details visit the AA website http://www.theaa.co.uk/motoringandtravel/idp/
7. Insurance Certificates and/or E111 : With the E111 you will also need proof of UK residence, such as a driver’s licence or NHS card, and vaccination certificates.

  EQUIPMENT
1. Equipment and Clothing you compete in - make sure they all conform to the competition standards
2. Training equipment :any extra required. Make sure you take clothing suitable for the climate you are going to
3. Tool Kit inc. Weights & Gauges NB don't carry this in hand luggage if you are in a rush as you will always get your bag searched at security
4. Prescribed medication : carry this in your hand luggage in case of luggage loss/delays
5. Food, drink and any nutritional supplements you normally use
6. Spare glasses/contact lenses : if you need them to compete in

1. Maps : if you are planning to drive or do any sight-seeing. Mapquest is a database containing maps of varying scales right down to street maps. Extensive coverage including Europe and North America.
